Michael has finally outgrown his infant car seat. We weren't quite sure what the limit was on our since we bought it used. I looked online & the most similar ones were between 20-22lbs. He is 20lbs so we decide it was time & bought a convertible car seat. I had a hard time picking one out that I liked & that was affordable. I made a decision and bought it. I brought it home and thought that it had no cup holder. I did end up finding out that what I thought was a "snack holder" opened up to be a cup holder. So I decided I'd go ahead and keep it & not spend $40 more on a different one. Man I can't believe how expensive a car seat can get! Some are as much as $300! Talk about luxury car seats! I liked this one because it was nice to only use one hand to undo the top snap. I also liked that the part to loosen or tighten was easier to adjust than most. Here is sweet Michael taking his first ride in his new car seat.

Wow, he is big stuff! How old is he? Morgan is still in her baby car seat- she is only about 18 lbs. I can't wait until she outgrows it though, I hate the way the snaps work on it.
He just turned 7 months. I have Joe to thank for Michael being such a big baby. Joe was 10lbs when he was born and he was early!
What a cute guy! I'm sure it won't be long before we have to buy a new car seat as well, since Aiden is already 18 pounds. I can't believe that story about his arm! That happened to my sister's baby. She accidently pulled her arm out of the socket and they had to take her to the Emergency room to have it put back in. I guess its easy to do with babies.
Whoa what a big boy! He looks so proud. I haven't even started thinking about another car seat yet. We'll probably wait as long as possible--Madelyn was almost 19 pounds the last time I weighed her, but then with her stomach flu she might be less now :)

He looks so cute in there Kelsey. Like he is the man. I love all the pictures you are taking. I bet I have zero in the car seat pose. Glad he has his cup holder for the drinking and driving that you starting him out on. LOL.... Hold on Michael, mommy is driving. WHEEEEE...........
Kelsey I love that seat! The colors are great! what brand is that? It seems like our boys are on the same track. I think Liam will be in one when he is 7 months. Good healthy boys!!
