Michael started playing T-Ball for the first time this year and he loves it. I have to say we love it too. It's a much better experience than basketball was. Here is a video of him hitting and running the bases at his first game(not too exciting of a video but cute). I ran out of storage on my phone to record him making it to home plate but I have since learned how to clear my card to my pc. :)
There was an opening ceremony that morning where they had all the teams line up on the field. This is about half the teams there. The coaches read off each child's name on their team with the kids ran over by their coach. It was cute. Michael didn't run though, he took his time and walked.
I volunteered myself to put the kid's names on their t-shirts. It ended up being pretty easy with the help of a friend who cut out the kid's names with vinyl on her cricket. I was going to print out the names on freezer paper and cut them out by hand with an exacto knife. That saved me days and from having sore fingers. I need to get me one of those machines. These are most of the shirts. I did a few later as parent's got their kid's shirt to me. They turned out so cute and the parents all loved it. It has helped us learn the kids names and to cheer them on!
Michel putting his nose in the air. Michael's stance is saying "I already know what to do, you don't have to tell me."
Running in after everyone had a chance to bat.
(other team already cleared the field)
The coach leads the kids in a Red Sox cheer, they keep going after he's already left.
They really like this part. :)
