Update way past due

Joe will not be deployed in February.
We both didn't think he'd be able to go due to heath issues trying to be resolved. Although I never felt that there was an official "no". I guess I expected to see a letter all typed up or something and I never saw that, so I waited to tell anyone. I was pretty sure he wouldn't go but I wanted to be sure before I told you all. Looks like it was another close call.

That's such good news.
It's a hard job to do even with husbands there helping and (I imagine) much harder without.
The job over there is needed too, but not when there are medical issues.
My brother is in the Army in Cuba now with a torn meniscus in his knee. My older brother had to write to congressmen and senators for him to be released to get medical treatment. He's in pain and they are just giving him pain killers that aren't working anymore and then they tried to extend his deployment until this August. He left last September 2007. Doc finally did something. Patti and Maria were of no help. Surprise there, right? He's coming home the beginning of March. Yea!
Glad to hear your good news.

Well I am very happy for you! nothing wrong with close calls... just means you lucked out, or had someone watching out for you. Either way you look at it better to have him home than away.
